Blueberry Yogurt

I made for an Instagram post and the theme was fruit. Yogurts are surprisingly quick and easy to make. They are a great alternative to a sweet dessert if you are watching the pounds (like a lot of us at times). All you need is thick Greek Natural Yogurt and the only thing you need to blend is the fruit with some honey. Then you mix it with the Greek Yogurt.

Previously, I tried blending the both yogurt and fruit together and it create a thin net texture similar to a smoothie. Therefore blending the fruit into a compote is much better. The great thing about making your own yogurt is that you can use as little or much honey as you want.

Blueberries have a lovely sweet flavour and are full of zinc. I can’t wait to try making other flavours. I will keep you posted.
