Sticky BBQ Beef with Sweet Potato and Salad

Here’s another sticky BBQ edition with a beef steak and sweet potato mash. As usual, season the beef in the marinade and then place in the oven covered in aluminium foil. In the meantime, the sweet potatoes can be peeled and boiled to make the mash.

As the meat cooks, the sauce will thicken and become gooey because of the honey. You get a nice sweetness to the BBQ sauce. Also the BBQ sauces is so glossy and sThe sweet potato goes really well with this.

As you can see in the background, I made a nice leafy salad with this delicious meal but you can use green vegetables with this dish. Both the beef and the sweet potato mash were garnished with parsley.
