Cookie and Cream Sundae

This dessert was made for a social media collaboration. As much as I wanted to make my brownies, I decided to push myself and be creative with simple ingredients, as time was of the essence. Since I love chocolate sauce, caramel sauce, cookies, cream and specifically Oreo's cookies, it made sense to create to an Oreo sundae with all of it sweet accessories .

The best thing to do when making such a sundae is to ensure that the icecream is cold enough enough where you can scoop the icecream into neat balls into the glass. When it is frozen it is difficult to do this. The fun part was adding the sauces and break the Oreo cookies.

Finally, you add the whipped cream and the chocolate sprinkles which acts like a garnish with the chocolate flake. This was messy but absolutely fun to make. Not to mention very delicious.
