Eggs with Halloumi cheese and Salad



I like varying my breakfasts on the weekend eating healthier alternatives. This time I had an egg, salad and Chilli Halloumi cheese. I love this cheese because of its salty chewy texture. I find the saltiness of the cheese dissipates when fried. Also adding a salad on the side makes the breakfast taste refreshing (not to mention colourful).

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day so it is important to eat as healthy as possible. If you are someone who has to eat a quick breakfast during the week, you have a larger, healthier breakfast at the weekend to supplement your vitamin intake.

Cooking time: 45 mins
Serves: 4

-1/2 pack of Chilli Halloumi Cheese

-1 Egg (2 Eggs if you are serving two people).

-7 Cherry tomatoes

-2 Tsp Black Chopped Olives

-1/2 tin of Sweetcorn

-1 Spring Onion

-1 tsp chopped garlic

-1 tsp parsley

-1 tsp coriander

-1 Tbsp vegetable oil

  1. Wash the vegetables.

  2. Make a salad using the vegetables and seasoning.

  3. Fry the Halloumi cheese in a frying pan on a medium heat until golden brown.

  4. Fry the egg to your preference.

  5. Serve the food on a plate.

  6. Garnish the egg with parsley.
