My nieces love a creamy pasta and this wild mushroom pasta is no exception. It is flavoursome with lots of garlic and herbs. Also, if you love lots of mushroom, then this is the pasta dish for you.
Sometimes I like to eat a meal with just vegetables. However, you can adapt this meal by using a range of different mushroom. If you are watching the pounds, then you can withhold the cheese.
Ingredients
-Spaghetti/Tagliatelle
-Chestnut Mushrooms
-Paste
-Parsley
-Basil
-Marjoram
-120ml Double cream
-Mozzarella cheese (optional)
Instructions
Boil a pot of water.
Put the spaghetti/linguine in the pot when the water is simmering.
Fry the mushrooms in garlic and butter until sautéed.
Blend some of the mushrooms until it becomes a paste.
Drain the spaghetti when cooked.
Add butter to the pasta.
Add the blender mushrooms and the cream.
Add the sautéed mushrooms to the pot.
Add a sprinkle of parsley and basil.
Add cheese (optional)
Stir until ready to serve.
