I had some extra spinach leaves left over from dinner and I thought why not put them into tonight’s smoothie for a change. While this doesn’t sound appealing, the spinach creates a velvet texture and has lots of health benefits like Iron, Vitamin A and C. It actually tastes delicious as well despite the green colour. I would definitely recommend to those who are watching their health.
Prep: 10 mins
-1 pack of spinach leaves
-1 pack of blueberries
-1 Tbsp honey
-4 mint leaves for garnish
Wash the blueberries and put into the blender.
Peel the banana and put into the blender.
Put a handful of spinach leaves into the blender.
Add a tablespoon of honey
Blend the contents until smooth.
Pour into two glasses.
Add two mint leaves for garnish in each glass.
