Blueberries, Banana and Spinach Smoothie

I had some extra spinach leaves left over from dinner and I thought why not put them into tonight’s smoothie for a change. While this doesn’t sound appealing, the spinach creates a velvet texture and has lots of health benefits like Iron, Vitamin A and C. It actually tastes delicious as well despite the green colour. I would definitely recommend to those who are watching their health.


Prep: 10 mins

Serves: 1-2


-1 pack of spinach leaves

-1 banana

-1 pack of blueberries

-1 Tbsp honey

-4 mint leaves for garnish



  1. Wash the blueberries and put into the blender.

  2. Peel the banana and put into the blender.

  3. Put a handful of spinach leaves into the blender.

  4. Add a tablespoon of honey

  5. Blend the contents until smooth.

  6. Pour into two glasses.

  7. Add two mint leaves for garnish in each glass.
